Brandon Joseph Fischer

Brandon “Fish” Fischer, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was born on May 17, 1989 in Pasco County, Florida to John Fischer and Rhonda Saunders. He was preceded in death by his loving grandfather, Lawrence Fischer, and grandmother, Sharon Ireland.
Brandon graduated from Whitmer High School in 2007, where he spent his high school years as a football player. He was extremely talented, starring in the starting lineup as defensive tackle number 70 and after graduation for the all-star league. LETS GO 7-0! 
Brandon had a strong love for nature and animals. He enjoyed being outside during the days no matter what the weather had in store; whether it was listening to the thunder and the rain or embracing the warmth of the summer or the cold of the winter. He spent countless nights gazing into the skies at the moon’s many phases and searching the clouds and stars for patterns and hope. He had a particular love for all seasons but his favorite place was in the water. Watching “People are Awesome” on YouTube was the highlight of many days and nights. He could spend hours consumed in the greatness those videos portrayed.
Although Brandon never had children, he had the honor of welcoming two beautiful nieces into his heart within the last year. He had a particular love for children because his childhood soul never left him. His laughter, love, extreme sense of humor and smile could light up a whole room. His presence will forever remain.   
He is survived by his father, John Fischer, mother, Rhonda Saunders, sister, Cailie Cooper (Jeff), his significant other, Sarah Morris, and many loving grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins. 
Brandon had a big smile and an even bigger heart.  In many ways, he truly was a gentle giant.  He will be forever loved and forever missed.
Funeral Services will be held at Castillo Funeral Home, 1757 Tremainsville Rd,, Toledo Ohio 43613 from 2-6pm.
