Manuel “Manny” Peña, Sr., 54, beloved father and son, passed away in his home July 13, 2017. Born May 31, 1963 in San Benito, Texas to Ernesto & Dolores Peña. Manny, a proud graduate of Macomber Vocational Technical HS, went into the construction trades and studied at the Oregon Career & Technology Center and Owens Community College where he attained his Journeyman status. He was Journeyman Millwright/Piledriver with Union Local #1393 & #1090. His ceaseless drive to further his education in his career was only surpassed by his love for his family. Manny was passionate, funny, humble, social and cherished time spent with his family and friends. He had a special love for music, whether participating or listening. Manny was very talented and creative, his artistic skills can be seen amongst building walls, apparel and his personal collection.  Manny served his country in the U.S. Marines.

Faithful to God and his loved ones, he is preceded in death by tia Margarita Dickens. Manny will be deeply missed and is survived by his children Judy Peña, Mandy Peña, Manuel Peña, Jr. (Sydni), Bridget Peña, Krystal Peña and Nathan Peña; parents Ernesto & Dolores Peña, Sr.; siblings Ernesto, Jr., Maria Sulaica (Darren), Eduardo (Richard); Ricardo and Emma (Bryan) Legech; grandchildren Elijah, Mateo and Manuel, III; aunts Aurelia Leal, Maria Campo, Janie Bush; and uncles Jesus & Joe Ybarra. 

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd.  Wednesday after 3 PM where funeral services will be held at 7 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
