Ted Kevin Hardy passed away Sunday November 12, 2017 in his home with his service dog Lilly Anne by his side at the age of 53. He was born June 8, 1964 in Toledo, OH to Walter “Ted” W. and Lenna J. (Carmony) Hardy. Ted attended Erie Mason Consolidated Schools. He worked at various places from Raceway Park, to being the "Boot Doctor" at the Flying J, he was a wonderful chef at the Holiday Inn, and was an accomplished Backyard Mechanic.

Ted lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with his son Christopher and grandchildren. Along with lawnmower racing with his brother-in-law Chuck, playing pool, bonfires, camping and fishing. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July which he celebrated with his family and friends. Ted was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast as nicknamed “The Lion” by the clubs he rode with. He also loved traveling to Tennessee his “Down Home”. His talents also include being an accomplished guitarist and he performed at numerous venues. Everyone loved his cooking and knew he loved to have a good time.

Ted is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Kenny and Keith; brother-in-law Chuck Krawetzke; and Papa Tony Gordos. He is survived by his son Christopher (Sarah) Greene; grandchildren Alexa Grace, Carlee, MacKenzee, Korben and Corryn; sisters Kimberly (Dennis) Hardy, R. Karol Krawetzke, Kerrie (Mike Smith) Hardy and Kaleene (Mike) Pratt; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and newphew.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home Saturday after 3 PM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 5 PM.
