Amanda Sue Threet was born on June 8, 1982. She died unexpectedly October 22, 2019. A life-long resident of Toledo, Ohio, she will be remembered for her giant smile and ability to light up a room.
A graduate of Owens Community College, Amanda used her nursing degree to work as an LPN caring for the elderly at several places, primarily Heartland of Perrysburg. Her heart for the elderly in her care was an important part of who she was.
Amanda was strong in heart, spirit, personality, and determination. She overcame drug addiction, took great pride in her son and daughter, and loved her family and friends dearly.
Amanda is preceded in death by her father, Sam Threet; and father of her son, Davy Black.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Threet; son Austin Black (Mike); daughter Kamryn Swan; sisters Cindi Ott and Alexis Threet; nieces and nephews, Christina Threet (Mike), Aaron Logan (Lindsey), Jeffrey Ott (Ashley), Joseph Cunningham (Kendall), Anna Cunningham (Kevin); ex- husband, Jerahmie Swan; current partner, Jared Foor; as well as many more family members and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home, 1757 Tremainsville Rd., on Monday, October 28, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 PM.
