Anna Margaret (Cole) Dobes

Anna Margaret (Cole) Dobes, of Toledo, passed from this earthly world May 20, 2018, to Our Kingdom in Heaven, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Anna was Born May 4, 1929, to Erma (Buck) Cole, and Edward Cole.  She married John Dobes Junior in 1949.

Mom and Dad, John Dobes Jr. Always made certain we kids learned about Jesus, and mom's little Bible was her constant chair companion.

Mom's Faith and Forgiveness has always been strong.  Mom loved everyone she met.  She would ask us kids "do you know what God is?"  And she would say "God is Love."

When facing difficulties Mom would say "I don't know the answer, but we got to Trust God." 

Mom Anna has been a kid magnet and Grandma to all the neighborhood kids, as well as a wonderful neighbor. 

Mom retired from Flower Hospital.  She enjoyed her yard.

Granddaughter Angela has always been a huge part in her Grandma's life.  Angela's son Austin was the apple of his Great Grandma’s life.

Special mention to forever neighbor Barb, and daughters Kathy and Mary.  As well as forever neighbor Janet and her Mom.  Neighbor Sandy has been a longtime friend to Mom and the family.

Special thanks to Tracy and her Mom, Jackie, for being by our sides, walking with us in this jouney. 

Thanks to the caring staff of Promedica Hospice, and the gracious staff of Aspen Grove. 

Mom is preceded in Heaven by Husband John Jr., Purple Heart recipient and veteran of WW11, daughter Annie (Dobes) Sodd, sister Irene (Cole) Iturralde, grandson Christopher Sodd, Great grandson, Jeremiah Allen Howell  (Angela Sodd).

Surviving are daughter Barbara (Dobes) Betz (James), granddaughter Angela Sodd, great grandson Austin, grandchildren Michael Sodd, Monica Sodd, great grandson Anthony Sodd. 

The family will have a private Memorial service the week of May 21st.
