Connie Evelyn (Bassett) Stalker

On December 21st 2018 Connie finished her journey and went home to be with God, after she lost her courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born April 11, 1962 in Eastport, Maine to George and Carolyn Bassett.

Sept 4th 2016 Connie was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought it with everything she had, just as she did with everything in life, she never quit. Connie was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and recently had the chance to see them play! Connie enjoyed playing softball as well as watching her daughters play in games. She also loved to go to the casino every chance she got! Connie was always there for someone when they needed her, the same way she was for her family and especially her children. Nothing was more important to her than family.

Connie is survived by her children Kevin(Lynn) Clark, Carolyn(JP) Vasquez and Brittany Stalker; mother Carolyn (Bob) Land; father George Bassett; brothers George Bassett III, Richard (Dawn) Bassett and Jamie (Terri) Bassett; grandchildren Kevin Jr., Madison, Trevor, Molly, Kara, Kaiden, Kate, Kaly, and Kylee. Special friends Ross Horton and Linda Herman, Laura Veronica and Carrie Leroy.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday Dec. 29th at 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1 PM with a luncheon to follow.
