Craig Arthur Cornachione passed away unexpectedly January 26, 2019 in Toledo Hospital at the age of 67. He was born December 11, 1957 in Cleveland, OH to Silvio and Shirley (Hakkio) Cornachione.
Craig attended and played football for the University of Toledo. With his love for harness racing, he became an accomplished horse trainer and driver with much success including Sire Stake wins and an entry in the Little Brown Jug with Captain Silverheels. Craig was a sportsman who enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He also loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 yrs. Barbara (Hrabosky) Cornachione; daughter Katie (Andy) Fillis; grandson Brayden Sutton; sisters Robyn (Maarten) Buma and Kelly (Carl) Garritano; brothers Mike (Harriet) Cornachione, Tom Cornachione, David Cornachione and Christopher (Elizabeth) Cornachione.
Private service were held with his family at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial tributes may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation 7151 N. Main St. Suite 2, Clarkston, MI 48346.
