Of all the qualities that God possesses, love is the most dominant one. He loved us so much that he gave his only begotten Son so that we may live. Life is what he purposed, not death. Soon he will swallow up death forever and remove all the things that cause pain and suffering. Until that time may each of you take comfort in him and in each other.

We were not able to attend the memorial. Although Hassan is now alive and well in his new home of Heaven, he will surely not be forgotten by all who knew him. In the days ahead, may our God of comfort, Jesus, hold you all in the palm of His hand as you remember his life legacy. The Bible declares that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord", so may this truth bring you hope and encouragement.
