Jennifer Lynn Eber

Jennifer Lynn Eber, 37, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday January 13, 2020.  

She was born April 19, 1982 in Toledo to Dale Eber and the late Deanna (Mulinix) Eber and graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 2000.

Jennifer worked as a server at the Hollywood Casino, Epic Buffet the last 6 years, where she was very loved by her regular guests and her teammates.

Jennifer’s greatest joy was being a mother to her seven children: Drake, Carter, Deanea, Cameron, Deon, Chaniya and Deja.

If one of her children was interested in something, so was she. This included most recently basketball and swimming at the YMCA, horseback riding, gaming systems and simply just being their Mom.  

Not a day went by that she wouldn’t have a story about one, three or all seven children.  Those stories always started with “Hey, did I tell you what____ did this week?”, always with a huge smile and a beaming look of pride.  With her job at the Casino, Jennifer met so many people who became instant friends and family, introducing her to so many new adventures. She loved going to new things with her children. They enjoyed days at the Toledo Zoo, Cedar Point, a recent trip to Hocking Hills and many other adventures.  It was rare to ever see Jennifer without her children when she was not at work, they were everything to her.  Working many extra shifts simply because one or more wanted to try something new.

Jennifer enjoyed life and she loved people. Her sense of humor was second to none. If you were lucky enough to be her friend, then your experience was different than another friend, as we are realizing that Jennifer had different relationships with all of us, because we all have different personalities, our friendships were too.  What a special gift that she leaves those of us that loved her.  Her contagious smile is very well known as well as her love of Sunflowers. If you happen to see an Epic Buffet team member with a Sunflower, know that Jennifer is being honored for her beautiful soul.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Deanna Eber; significant other Wayne Lee; Grandparents and cousin Daniel McCarthy. Jennifer is survived by her children Drake Alan, Carter Wayne, DeaNae Dawn, Cameron Cash, Deon Spice, Cha”Niya Nichole and Deja Lynn Eber; father, Dale Eber; siblings Dale Eber Jr, Linda McCarthy, Donald Eber, Douglas Eber, Debra Taylor, and David Eber Jr. and Debbie Taylor; Uncle Randy Mullinix; cousin Cortney Mullinix; family friend John Maran as well as numerous cousins and many friends who became family, including her very best friend and “Sissy” Joy Grogan.

Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Monday after 3 PM followed by a funeral service at 5 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to the family vis this website to care for his children.
