Thomas Alan James “Tommy” died July 8, 2018 in Toledo Hospital at the age of 61. He was born August 11, 1956 in Toledo to Robert & Iva (Guthrie) James. Tommy worked in various different aspects of the construction industry eventually working and retiring from the Iron Workers.

He enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, playing cards & cribbage as well as traveling across the country. Tommy's greatest love was his family and friends, who he would visit and help out in any way he could. Everyone who knew him would say he had the kindest heart and was the most selfless man they’d ever met.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents; sister Francis James; brother Wayne James and son Thomas (TJ) James II. He is survived by his daughters Shayreen (Christopher) Mock, Lindsay James and Ashlee (Josh) Luke; son Travis James; grandchildren Michael Steinberg II, Maci Steinberg, Christopher Steinberg, Wyatt Luke, Charlotte James, Owen Luke, Kinsley Richardson and Tobias James; siblings Johnny James, Linda James, Pam (Don) Deland, David James, Deborah (Gary) Munson and Dawn (Clinton) Woodford; 36 nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Saturday September 22, 2018 from 11AM to 7 PM at the James Rustic Acres & Lodge in Brookville, PA
