Abel Deleon Villarreal died December 30, 2016 in his home at the age of 57. He was born November 22, 1959 in Toledo to Esteban and Anita (Deleon) Villarreal. Abel proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked as psychiatric coordinator at the Oakwood Correctional Institute in Lima, OH.

Abel is preceded in death by his parents; sister Rosita D. Gonzalez and brother Juan D. Villarreal. He is survived by his daughter Elda V. (Thomas E.) Liparoto; son Michael A. (Becky) Huerta grandchildren Irene Salazar, Mario Salazar, Sofia Liparoto, Samantha Liparoto, Selena Liparoto, Sabrina Huerta, Antonio Huerta, Michael Huerta Jr. and Matthew Huerta; brothers Steve D. (Dora) Villarreal, Manuel D. (Zulema) Villarreal, David D. (Debbie) Villarreal, Jesus D.(Sheila) Villarreal and sister Anita D. Villarreal.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday after 5 PM followed by a Celebration of his Life at 6:30 PM with military funeral honors.
