On July 8th at approximately 6:30am, Alan R. Harbson, Sr. left this earth to join his loved ones who have passed. He was born July 3, 1949 in Alpena, MI to Raymond  and Rhea (Marciniak)Harbson.

Alan was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Terry, wife Sharon, daughter Kristy, son Sean and Duncan the "Nut Dog". He is survived by his sons Alan Jr. (Alexandra) and Chadwick; daughter Cheryl (Ian); brother Mike grandchildren Chadwick II, Maxwell, Stella Raeanna, Kalynn, Ryan, Amy Alli and Kadyn; and great grandchildren Kassidy, Landyn, Emery, Savannah Dayton, Liam, Eli, Jr, Izzy, David Sean, Addy and Hope..

Alan was raised in Alpena MI and after high school, he left home to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. Eventually moving to NW Ohio.  Alan worked many years at General Mills, ultimately retiring from there.

Alan was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed trap and skeet shooting. He also loved playing cards with good friends and tinkering in his garage.

He was loved by anyone who got to know him.  The world is worse without him.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday after 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12 Noon. His inurnment will be private at Toledo Memorial Park.
