Angelo Dominic Capriotti passed away January 24, 2016 in San Marcos, CA surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo March 6, 1928 to Dominic and Ada Capriotti. Angelo graduated from Central Catholic High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

He was very active in the Italian Catholic Federation and the Knights of Columbus and was one of the founding members of the Knights first Rossford Council 5139 and served as the Grand Knight in 1962.

Angelo was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and later St. Patricks of Heatherdowns and later Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Claremont, CA. After moving to California, he attained his degree from Chafee College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Angelo is survived by the love of his life, wife Esther, children Elizabeth Ruffolo, Gina Haskins, Dominic Capriotti, Becky (Brian)Kyer, Mark Castillero, Dan and Chris Castillero.  Their grandchildren Laura Fairman, Michael (Elyssia) Haskins and Amanda Haskins, Christina (Andy) Miller, Rico (Rachael) Castillero, and Noah Castillero.; sister Carolina (Don) Francis; seven great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. We would especially like to thank our angel, our sister Chris Castillero for her kindness in taking such good care of our father the last few years.

The family will receive friends in the narthex at Christ the King Catholic Church Saturday February 27 after 9 AM followed by a memorial Mass at 10 AM. The family prefers memorial tributes be made to Comboni Missionaries Cincinnati Mission Center 1318 Nagel Rd., Cincinnati, OH  45255.
