IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ashley L
Orra
December 25, 1986 – January 15, 2024
Ashley Angelique Orra, aged 37, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Monday January 15, 2024, after complications from surgery. She fought relentlessly.
Ashley was a Christmas baby, born on December 25th, 1986, to Sharon (Walczak) Orra and Sam Orra. She attended Toledo Public Schools and graduated from Whitmer High School. Ashley was employed in the service industry, where her shining personality gained her many regular clients, who became friends.
Ashley was dealt a hard hand at life, but she never complained and always had a smile on her face, in spite of her troubles. In 2018, Ashley gave birth to her only child, Caleb, who immediately became the center of her world. Ashley also had a helpful hand, in raising her brother, Adam. She enjoyed comedy, traveling, spending time with her son, family and friends, socializing, dancing, and music, amongst many other things. One of her favorite things was going to the beach and feeling the sand in her toes.
Ashley was a known jokester. She would crack a joke or prank, any chance she had. She was loyal and loved fiercely. Ashley never met a stranger. She made friends with everyone that crossed her path. She was an amazing mommy, dedicated in every way to Caleb, and his well being. Ashley will be remembered for her loving nature, warm, welcoming smile, infectious laugh, tight hugs, and her one-of-a-kind personality.
Ashley is survived by her beautiful son, Caleb; her brother, Adam; her father Sam Orra; her loving Aunt Karen (Michael) Sharp; Aunt Nadine Paine; Uncle Ali (Layla) Orra; cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Walczak; her grandparents Ernestine and Joseph Walczak; her Aunt Molly Janiszewski; her cousin Cassandra Angelique Sharp (her namesake); and her second cousin Avery Bacon.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19th, from 11-1:30 PM, at Castillo Funeral Home, 1757 Tremainsville Dr. with interment to immediately follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Condolences can be made to the family at Castillofuneral.com.
Special thanks to cousins Tiffany Sharp and Mike Orra, for making and finalizing arrangements.
