Bernard Childress was born on October 5, 1964, to Bernard and Gwendolyn Childress. He departed this life on March 9, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Grace Jackson, and Arletta Norwood. Bernard has one brother, Stephan Childress: two beautiful daughters, Sabrina Smith (Atlanta, GA) and Victoria Jones (Chicago, IL). Bernard also has a host of nieces, grandnieces and nephews and cousins. Bernard loved everyone.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, March 19, at the Castillo Funeral Home, 1757 Tremainsville Road, after 12 Noon followed by Funeral Services at 2 PM.
