Brandel L. A. Rusek passed away October 19, 2016 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center at the age of 34. She was born in Toledo Sept. 3, 1982 to Dawn Sparks and Peter Rusek. She attended Rogers High School before leaving due to health issues in her junior year but was able to get her GED in 1999.

Brandel was known for having a big heart, she opened her door to anyone in need even though she fought many battles of her own.  She would want the best for all her family and friends.

Brandel was blessed with three beautiful daughters whom she adored.  Airyanna, Elaina, and Navayda. She also is survived by  her mother Dawn (Robert) Sparks and father Pete (Mary) Rusek; sisters Nicole Rusek, Capri Farless, Blake Sparks, Corey Sparks, ;Emily Rusek and brother Ronald Rusek;aunts Darlene (Matt) McNeil, Mary Kimple, Andrea (Dale) Sparks, Laura Bradley; uncles Larry (Kim) Bowers and George Rusek; as well as neices, nephews and cousins.

Brandel's family will be receiving friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday after 3 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 7 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to Brandel's children via her mother Dawn Sparks.
