Carol Ann LaPlante, daughter of Lionel and Angela (Lewis) LaPlante, sadly passed away Friday, July 28th, 2023 in her home at the age of 60. She was born December 23rd, 1962 at her home in Erie, Michigan. Carol was a 1981 graduate of Erie Mason High School where she loved competing in Baton Twirling. After graduating, she enjoyed traveling before giving birth to her two children. Carol was a selfless, beautiful person, who loved to laugh and spend time with her mother, children and grandchildren. She was an avid fan of football, specifically the New England Patriots and Michigan Wolverines. She also had a deep love for animals. She was preceded in death by her father Lionel, brothers Jeff and Doug (Diane) and is survived by her mother Angela, brother Howard (Diane), partner Mark, daughter Stephanie, son Alex (Rikki), and grandchildren Natalie, Madison, Emma and Kaison. We will be receiving family and friends at Castillo Funeral Home on Saturday, August 12th at noon with a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM
