On Monday, December 21st 2020, Carolina (Capriotti) Francis, loving wife and mother of six children, passed away peacefully at the age of 86.

Carolina was born on May 26th 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Dominic and Ada Capriotti. On April 7th 1956 she married Donald Francis. They raised two daughters Theresa and Veronica, and four sons, Jim, John, Jeffrey and Joseph.

Carolina was known for her caring and loving nature. She had a passion for celebrations and cooking. She loved to bird watch and tend to her garden. Carolina was a devout women of faith at Christ the King parish and said her rosary daily. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She will be greatly missed as the best wife, the best mother and the best Noni. We will forever miss you sweet Carolina.

Carolina is survived by her husband, Donald; daughter, Theresa (Thomas) Hankenhof; son, John (Angie) Francis; son, Jim (Randy) Francis; son, Joseph Francis; daughter, Veronica (Patrick) Connell; son, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Francis. In addition, she is survived by 6 grandchildren Kathleen Hankenhof, Kristen Hankenhof, Nicholas (Jessica) Francis, Matthew (Michaela) Francis, Stephen Francis, and Benjamin Francis, great-nephew Michael (Elyssia) Haskins, great-niece Amanda (Brendan) Tegeder. She was preceded in death by her brother Angelo Capriotti. She was lovingly cared for by her niece Gina Haskins. She is survived by many other friends and family members who loved her dearly.

Friends and Family are welcome for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 10AM followed by funeral prayers at 1:15 PM with Funeral Mass to be held at Christ the King Catholic Church at 2 PM. Private interment will be held on Monday. The Funeral Mass will be webstreamed  on the church's website Cktoledo.org.
