Catherine J. Gasser affectionately known as "Peachie" passed away Wednesday November 29, 2017 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio – Perrysburg at the age of 87. She was born January 8, 1930 in Toledo to James & Josephine (Reynolds) Limongi. Catherine graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1948. In 1949, she married the love of her life Milton H. Gasser. They were married 62 years and together raised 8 wonderful children.

Catherine enjoyed traveling with Milton until his death in 2011. She was a loving mother and enjoyed cooking meals for her family. She loved knitting, puzzles and watching old time movies. Her greatest joy was her family particularly her grandchildren whom she adored.

Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother James Limongi and son in law Jim Carter.

She is survived by her children Len (Andrea) Gasser, Connie Carter (John Jameson), Tom (Sharon) Gasser, Karen Murphy (Bill Tucker), Jim (Kim) Gasser, Mary (Greg) Pfleghaar, Sandi (Dave) Zwayer and Steve (Missy) Gasser; sister Jean Meyers and brother Paul Limongi; 28 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way.

Catherine's family will be receiving friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Monday after 3 PM where a scripture service will be offered at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 12 Noon in St. Patrick Historic Church 130 Avondale Ave. Toledo.
