Christopher Allen Smith passed away unexpectedly in his home at the age of 36. He was born July 27, 1982 in Toledo, OH to Joseph & Debra (Duslak) Smith and attended Whitmer High School Class of 2000. Chris worked as a server & bartender while pursuing a career in cosmetology. He was attending David Pressley School of Cosmetology where he would have graduated this October.

Chris enjoyed the outdoors, he loved biking, kayaking and walking his dogs Axel and Howie. Chris liked going to concerts, Elton John, Bob Seger and Lynyrd Skynyrd were some of his favorites.  He was known as a people person and he loved spending time with friends and family.

Chris is survived by his life partner Mike Beaufore and Michael's children Taylor, Keegan (Amanda), Anna (Allen) and Dustin; parents Joseph and Debra Smith; siblings Tina, Kevin (Catrina), Bryan (Sara) and Nicole (Jason); numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Tuesday after 2 followed by a Celebration of Life at 5 PM.
