Connie Sue Wainscott Lance passed away peacefully surrounded by her Husband and her four children at Saint Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was born May 31, 1954 in Toledo to Donald and Emma (Vess) Wainscott.

Connie loved reading, fishing, gardening and was the family troublemaker. She loved her family and was a proud homemaker. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and she was especially proud to be a great grandmother . Connie was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and Savior and her church family at Neighborhood Freewill Baptist Church in Oregon Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her mother Emma Jean Hamilton; father Clinton Sloan Sr; sister Lois Wainscott; granddaughter Amanda Marie and grandson Christopher Lee.

Connie is survived by her husband Charles H Lance, children, Charles (Christine) Rainey, Cynthia (Daniel) Bancroft, Caryn (Daniel) Lynch & Christie Dzenis, Stepchildren, Billy Jo (Wess) Clayton, Jackie Lance (Rick), Charles Lance, Stephen Lance & Danielle Lance (Sammy); sisters Mary (Steve) Lance & Diana Ross; brother Rusty (Elisa) Sloan; Grandchildren, Charles (Dana), Caylynn (Bryson), Caleb, Cymantha (Rob), Jessica (Michael), Matthew, Nicholas, Ryan, Megan, Rebecca, Veronica (Jordon) TJ, Ashley (Eddie) Alexis & Taylor. Great Grandchildren, Tony, Camron, Elijah, Hailey, Carsyn, Stella, Troy Jr, Aubree& Noelle along with 16 grandchildren & 29 great grandchildren in Tennessee.

Friends and Family are welcome for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) at the Castillo Funeral Homes Monday after 4 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7 PM officiated by Pastor Roy Hayes. Memorial tributes may be made to the family via this website to offset expenses.
