IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cynthia Starr
Alexander-Kinzel
March 17, 1970 – June 4, 2025
Cynthia Starr Alexander-Kinzel, 55, of Erie, Michigan, was welcomed by our Lord and Savior on June 4th, 2025. Cindy was born March 17th, 1970, in Toledo, Ohio, and is survived by her husband, Dale Kinzel; children, Sadee Helsel (Randy Helsel), Veronica Alexander, Denem Alexander; stepdaughter, Lindsay Kinzel; grandchildren, Roslyn Alexander, Lydia Alexander, Kolton Kinzel, and Kaden Kinzel; and her brother, Melvin "Bud" Alexander (Deedee Alexander).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Harold Alexander Sr. and Mary Jane Alexander.
A vibrant and loving presence, she left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her. As a relentlessly devoted mother to her three children, Sadee, Veronica, and Denem, and an adoring grandmother to her granddaughters, Roslyn and Lydia, she left much joy and warmth in their hearts. Her marriage to Dale of 33 years was a testament to her love and loyalty. Her friendships were a treasure trove of laughter and memories. Her closest friends were more than that; they were her sisters.
With a flair for creativity and a keen sense of style, Cindy could light up a room. Her infectious laugh and deep conversations made her a beloved friend and family member. Cindy had opinions and wasn't afraid to share them. They called her a homemaker, and they were right. She could go anywhere in the world, and she made it feel like home to those with her. To anyone who entered her home, she made them feel like family. The outpouring of love and grief at her passing is a testament to the impact Cindy had on so many lives.
Through her 12-year battle with ovarian cancer, the same disease that took her beloved mother, she demonstrated remarkable resilience and strength, inspiring all who knew her. Cindy always kept her mother's memory alive in the hearts of her family and friends. Her own legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who loved her. Her compassion for animals, family, and friends was undeniable.
Though her passing at 55 leaves a profound void, her love, her laughter, her uniqueness will be deeply missed but never forgotten. With God's blessing, Cindy's spirit will shine through our everyday lives.
Her family will receive friends at Whiteford Wesleyan Church, 10285 Sylvania/Petersburg Rd, Ottawa Lake, MI 49267 after 11 AM where A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM.
