Obituary
Cynthia Schoonmaker passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the age of 67 due to complications of a stroke. Cindy was born October 9, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Josephine (Erndel) Viertlbeck. Raised in Toledo Cindy was a DeVilbiss High School Graduate. Aside from spending time with family she enjoyed traveling and crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Viertlbeck and her parents.
She is survived in death by her sisters, Mary Jo Viertlbeck and Beth Ann (Tim) Schnatterly. Daughter Angela Grauel, Son Bradford (Chelsie) Schoonmaker and Grandsons Wylan and Hudson Grauel and Braxton and Bryce Schoonmaker plus numerous nieces and nephews. Cindy's family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday after 4 PM followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM.
