Dakoda Jacob Rogers was tragically taken from us on Monday November 20, 2017 at the age of 25. Kody was born August 28, 1992 in Toledo to Robbie D. Rogers and Stacie L Gorsuch.

He was a one in a lifetime person, who loved his family dearly. Kody's love of family was evident especially this time of year, he went big for others and was everyone's "Santa" in more ways than one. Kody's love for the holidays went from Thanksgiving, Black Friday and all the way to his brother Joey's birthday right after New Year's, he always made sure his family was happy. Kody, aka as Pinchy Pinch (at family get-togethers), always made everyone laugh and always had fun playing with his nieces and nephews Keleah, Romeo, Alaya and King, whom he adored.

Kody also loved driving and listening to music. He was known as a loving, gentle, kind, dependable and protective person who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. His family relied on him to give them strength and lifted them up when they needed it most.

Kody is survived by his mother Stacie; father Robbie; Best Friend Da'Shan; sister Kelsey; brothers Joseph, Manuel and Angelo; step brothers and sisters; grandmothers Barbara Gorsuch, Rose Rogers and Pinky Easter; great grandmother Violet Puhl; favorite aunt Kari; favorite cousin Chelsea Gorsuch; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews also survive.

Family will be receiving friends at the Castillo Funeral Home from 4 – 8 PM Friday Decemberr 1, 2017 and after 10  AM Saturday December 2  where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 Noon. Memorial tributes may be made to the family to offset expenses on the website.
