David "Dave" Denman passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Sylvania, OH at the age of 71.  Dave was born in Toledo on October 8, 1952 to Donald and Beatrice (Biniker) Denman and graduated from Bowsher High School in 1970. After high school, he went into carpentry and remodeling eventually owning his own contractor company before retiring.

Dave enjoyed sports and was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a big University of Michigan football fan and was so happy when they won the National Championship last year – "Take that Buckeyes" !

Dave loved spending time with his friends from going on numerous trips with them or their routine night of playing cards.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandkids, who would brighten his day whenever they would say "Papa" and give him a hug.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 37 yrs. Karen (Bronowicz); children Lani (Lane) Bidlack, Jordan (Chelsea) Denman and Alyssa (Zachary) Chamberlin as well as his five grandchildren: Jackson, Vivian, Grayson, Emma and Taylor; and sister Donna Deboe-Henniger.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Tuesday from 4 – 7 PM where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 River Rd. Perrysburg, OH 43551.
