Derrick Jermain Kimble was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 12, 1992, to his mother Demetria Mays and his father Derrick Kimble. Derricks life was taken on April 25, 2022.
In 2012 Derrick obtained his GED and worked as an assembly worker, but Derricks true passion in life was music, he was very talented. He never got the chance fulfill his musical dreams that he was so passionate about. Derrick was in the process of changing his life and working towards all his goals. He could have achieved anything he set his mind to! Derrick brightened the room when he walked in, loud, smiling and cracking jokes!
Derrick was a son, father, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Derrick had a beautiful soul and everything about him will be missed very much.
Derrick was preceded in death by his daughter A'morei Kimble; grandparents; Frances Kimble, Lee Kimble, George Mays Sr., George Mays Jr., Erma Douglas and Mattie and Lawrence Gilmer. Aunt Joyce Johnson, Jeremy "3hun" Marshall, Jerry McGee, Aunt Rhonda Thompson, cousin; Tavion Belcher and many other family and friends.
Derrick was a good dad, and they were the most important people in his life…He will watch over them forever.
He leaves his memory to be cherished by his parents, Demetria Mays and Derrick Kimble, his "Moo Moo" Chicola (Larry) Thompson; grandmother Diane McGee; his beautiful children; De'Miyah, Elena (Samira), Azaria, Sincere, Ermias (Alexis), Derrick Jr., and De'Shyren; his siblings whom he held a special bond, Jerrae, Jarvalin, Jermiah, Janeice, Jermeisha, Jeremy Jr., and Delnshana Barber, 8 nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts; George "Uncle App" Mays, Cetron Mays, Kenny Mac and Ray Morrison, Alasha (App) Mays, Ebony Toyer, 7 Great Aunts, 8 Great Uncles and many many cousins and friends. Special friend Lisa Lunsford, Special cousin Akeem Gilmer.
Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday for a Celebration of Life Service from 11 AM - 1 PM.
