Donald (Don) Piotrowski passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2025 at the age of 69. He was born and raised in the Polish Village, always proud of his Polish heritage. Don was a master baker when it came to coffee cakes his were the best.

He attended St. Hedwig grade school and Calvin M. Woodward High School. Upon graduation Don worked for Dana Corporation, Meyer Tool & Machine Co., Progressive Industries, and retired from Advanced Engineering in Northwood Ohio.

He was a Jeep guy, owning a Jeep the last 45 years. His pride and joy was his current 1999 Jeep Cherokee. Don enjoyed traveling and visited all 48 states in the continental United States, in his Jeep. Photography was his hobby with numerous pictures of his travels throughout the United States and his abundant gardens. Don couldn't get enough of David Letterman, taping every show that Dave did. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers fan. Don was a longtime supporter of PBS broadcasting, Toledo Zoological Society, and the Toledo Metro parks. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially the holidays.

Preceded in death by his father and mother Paul and Stella (Radon) Piotrowski. Donald is survived by brothers Bernard J. Piotrowski, and James "Pete" (Diane) Piotrowski along with his beloved nieces and nephews who will all miss him very much.

A Celebration of Life Services will be held at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. on Friday, February 7th after 3 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM.
