Doris J. Tinsley Sandor passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center at the age of 76. She was born January 27, 1942 in Oregon, OH to Jack & Hazel (Richardson) Hartford. Doris worked in various factories while also being the mom & dad to her six children.

She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, garage sales and drinking a fresh Pepsi Cola. Her greatest passion was animal rescue, she never turned away an animal that needed care. Doris loved her numerous cats as well as the wildlife in her yard from the squirrels to the birds.

Her compassion was not only reserved for the animals but also her fellow man. She would always try to help others wherever and whenever she could.

Doris's greatest love was her family; she was preceded in death by her parents, sons Joseph Hill and Terry Folck and daughter Claudia "Sissy" Tinsley. She is survived by her sons William (Jeanna) Tinsley and Christopher (Delia) Tinsley; grandchildren Ryan Tinsley, Haily, Sydney, Christopher Jr. and Alexis; many great grandchildren, family and friends also survive.

Her family will be receiving friends in the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 1:30 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2 PM.
