Dorothy "Dot" (Carter) Dicken, born August 20, 1941 in Lake City, TN, passed away January 1, 2019 at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by those who loved her. She is preceded in death by her father, David "Shug" and her mother, Lucille. Also, her sister, Brenda, her brother, Ronald, and her daughter, Regina. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Russell. As well as her children, Keith (Jean) of Huntersville, NC, Lisa (Mike) of Toledo, Kenya (Steve) of Swanton, and Christopher of Toledo. 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was always quick witted and ready for a good laugh. She also enjoyed her weekly dinner with special relatives. She loved her children and grandchildren immensely and was an important part of their lives.

Dot's family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Friday from 2 – 8 PM where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Forest Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
