It is with great sadness that the family of Elsie May Reardon announces her sudden passing on Wednesday October 05, 2022 at the age of 66. Elsie Reardon our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away at her home in Toledo, Ohio. Elsie was born on October 15, 1955 and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She received her High School Diploma at the age of 15 from St. Vincent DePaul Catholic School. Elsie worked for many years in Detroit, MI to provide for her family before moving to Toledo, OH where she resided for the remainder of her life. She was adored and loved by all that knew her. Elsie enjoyed watching her favorite shows on television, completing crosswords in the TV guide, hitting the casino (playing slots) and her love of onions is unreal. Elsie was an extraordinary woman who touched the hearts of all she loved. Elsie is survived by her life-long companion of 30+ years Stanley Garcia A.K.A. Harpo; Her children: Kevin (Colleena), James (Mandi), Chantay (Matt), Janice (Ryan), Chuck, Charles, Sid (Carrie) and Doc (Mykela); Very Dear Sisterly Friend: Tammy; Others she loved as her own child: Emma (Bryson), Ace (Kaitlyn), Axle, Jimmy and Rooster; Her many grandchildren: Kalei (Jason), Nicholas G., Zachary G., Breanna (Gregory), Andrew (Haley), Tara, Zachary R., Hannah, Jesse, Chelci, Ashley, Branden, Destinie, Heaven (Alec), Mikayla, Jacob, Nicholas R., Chloe, Miguel, Charity, Cody, Cassidy, Noah, Riley, Shelby, Madison, Henna, Hazel, Hera, and Hawke known as Mr. Wonderful; Others she loved as her grandchildren: Sean R., Brian K., Brooke J. and many others; Her great grandchildren: Layla, Josiah, Serenity, Lorenzo, Cheyenne, Amarionna, Marquis, Kingston, Oaklynn and Theodore; Her siblings: Yvonne (Jim) and Billy; Other extended family: Jamie, Athena, Barbie Sue and many others. Elsie was predeceased by her parents: Yvonne and George; Ex-Husband: James Reardon; Brother: George; Other child she loved as her own: Joyce. A private celebration of life will take place in honor of Elsie at a date to be determined. At Elsie Reardon's request, no services will be held.
