Ernesto Peña Jr., 61, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on April 15, 2022.  He was born to Ernesto and Dolores Pena in San Benito, Texas, on February 1, 1961.

Ernie was a passionate chef, working in some of Toledo's fines establishments, such as Fifi's, Damon's and The Willows, among using his talents in other states with one of his finest achievements being employed at the Excelsior hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his father; Ernesto Peña Sr., brothers; Manuel (Manny) and Eduardo (Eddie) Peña.  He leaves behind his mother; Dolores Peña, daughters; Lisa Marie and Mercedes Renee, grandchildren; Myles, Mykiah, Adrian, Madisyn and Jay, siblings; Maria Dolores Sulaica, Ricardo Peña, and Emma Legech, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. on Saturday April 23, 2022 after 2pm. followed by a Funeral Prayer Services at 6pm.
