Etta Jane Mitten passed away surrounded by her family Monday Nov. 11, 2019 at the age of 60. She was born Sept. 18, 1959 in Toledo to Martin and Sandra (Davenport) Fritts.

Some of Etta's small pleasures were painting ceramics, laying in the sun, listening to Elvis music and having the biggest lobster in the tank. Her greatest love was her relationship with Jesus Christ and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a homemaker and the "Neighborhood Mom", a mom to more than just her own.

Etta is preceded in death by her mother Sandra Fritts and husband Ted Mitten. She is survived by her children Jon Martin (Christina) McCloud, Joshua Gordon (Jennifer) McCloud and Megan Jane ((Gerran) Brown; grandchildren Ethan, Deanna, Adam, Colin, Quinn, Skyler and Camdin; father Martin J. (Dorothy) Fritts; siblings Faith Tipple, Connie (Mark) Ryan, Marty (Julie) Fritts, Doby Fritts, Mahon (Regina) Fritts, Stacy (James) Duran, Tammy (Wendy) Howell and Tina Semmler as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday after 3 PM followed a Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM. The celebration will conclude with food & refreshments.
