Gary M.  Richmond ("Doc"), 70, of Toledo, Ohio, died peacefully in his home on March 17, 2022.

Gary was born on January 17, 1952, to the late Owen Richmond and Evelyn (Miller) Richmond. Gary was a graduate of DeVilbiss high school and retired after 28 years with Lyden Oil Company.

Above all things, Gary was a devoted father to the apple of his eye, his daughter, Andrea Richmond. He was the most caring and loving husband to his late wife, Krystyne Richmond, and proud grandfather to his twin grandsons, Gunnar, and Griffin Dock.

Gary was a great friend to so many. He was hard-working, kind, sweet and had the patience of an angel. His smile and energy would light up any room. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He had a love for all sports and music.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his daughter and best friend, Andrea Richmond; grandsons, Gunnar and Griffin, brother, Ronald Richmond; sisters-in-law, Donna Brassil, Ann (Don) Georgieff; nieces and nephew, Pam Lemke, Jenny Coy, Tammy Gorniak and Kenneth Richmond; and his fur babies, Alvin and Simon.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Richmond (Willa).

His exquisite soul touched all that knew him. Until we meet again… GO BLUE!!

The family will be having a celebration of life this summer.
