In George's own words "George Downing Died".

George Downing passed away on September 27th at Ebeid Hospice Residence at the age of 60. He was born December 29, 1961 in Toledo to Gerald & Norma (Hannah) Downing.

George was a tool and die maker for over 40 years.  His main passion was riding his motorcycle.  Whether it be riding to work and back, or really long road trips with his friends and wife Beth, George loved riding.  He also enjoyed taking off in the motor home for trips, no matter where.  George's greatest passion was spending time with his children and grandchildren.  George was also a life member of the DUX Motorcycle Club.

George is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Beth; children Theresa (Dawn) Florinchi, Marty Downing and Ashley (RJ) Jeffries; grandchildren Dylan Gillenkirk, Marissa and Marly Downing, Rashalle Cornelison and Makenzi Jeffries; sisters Sue (Daryl) Bell, Gayle (Jim) Riddle, Gerri Downing and Terri (Mike) Meyers and his brothers of the heart Pat Brogan & Jerry Bell.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday from 3-7 PM & after 10 AM Monday where a Memorial Funeral service will be held at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Promedica Ebeid Hospice 5340 Harroun Rd. Sylvania, OH 43560 or the charity of the donor's choice.
