Gordon A. McCloud, born August 14, 1942, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026.

He was the beloved son of the late Gordon A. McCloud and Bernice L. McCloud. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry (Swartz) McCloud; his children, Samantha Waller (Bill), Matthew, Theodore, Luke (Christine), and David (Lori); his brother, Jon McCloud (Theresa); and his granddaughter, Amber McCloud, whom he raised as his own. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Gordon enjoyed spending time with friends in his garage, gardening, and watching NASCAR. He especially loved giving rides on his John Deere tractor to his grandchildren and neighbor Kennedy. He will be remembered for his laughter, selflessness, and deep love for his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Road on Thursday, May 7, from 5–8 PM. Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 8, at 9:30 AM.
