Gustavo Rivas, Jr., 63, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 23, 2022. He was born August 28, 1959 in Uvalde, TX to Jesus & Anita (Diaz) Alfaro and later moved to Toledo. Gustavo worked at American Manufactring, Inc. for over 10 years.

He was the handyman to the family, "If Papa can't fix it, no one can". Gus loved the Dallas Cowboys but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 41 yrs. Connie Rivas; children Rosita, Rebecca, Renee, Gustavo III (Ashley) and Anita (Pasook); 14 grandchildren and siblings Willie, Renee, Joey, Jesse, Arnie, James and Lupe; as well as many nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 12 Noon followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4 PM.
