Mrs. Hilma "Helen" Mathilda (Lehtinen) Shaltz, born on December 10, 1915 in Hancock, Michigan to the late Hilma Lehtinen (Pelto) and the late Carl Lehtinen, passed away at age 102 on August 17, 2018.  She was a resident of Bowling Green Manor, Bowling Green, Ohio – Formerly of Madison Heights, Michigan.

Hilma was married to the late Rudolph G. Shaltz.  She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald D. Shaltz, Sr.; brothers, Al "John" Lehtinen and Waino 'Matt" Lehtinen; and sister, Martha "Irene" Whyde.  Hilma was also preceded in death by great friend and companion, Eino "Jack" Swando.

She is survived by Daughter-in-law, Ruth Shaltz; her grandchildren, Ronald Shaltz, Jr., Rebecca (Kurt) Schulze, and Gregg (Cynthia) Shaltz; great- grandchildren Richard Saltz, Laura Shaltz, Ron Rose, Jay Schulze, Carly Schulze, Jessica Shaltz, and Ryan Shaltz; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She also leaves nephews, Jim, Lehtinen, Gerald Lehtinen and Jon Lehtinen; neice, Billie Quigley.
