James Alan Vetter "Jim" Jim passed away on Tuesday Dec 26, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by loved ones, including his son, Chris, who was by his side during his final moments.

He was born in Toledo Ohio May 24 1952 to Alois and Irene Vetter graduating from Start High School. Jim then went on to the University of Toledo where he was an avid weight lifter winning numerous competitions. Jim enjoyed martial arts, boxing, doing origami with his sons, building computers and reading his books.

Jim worked as a clerk for the Toledo municipal courts for 20 years. He then became a security guard for several years after that. Jim was an animal lover and later in life his kitty cats were his ultimate companions.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father and nephew little Paul.

James is survived by his sons Chad Vetter and Chris Vetter; grandchildren Anastasia and Kyle; sisters Karen Huven, Linda Holden and another that lives out of town; as well as numerous nieces and nephews..

His family will have a Celebration of Life service at a later date in the spring when his oldest son can come to town. Donations in his name can be made to NAMI of Greater Toledo.
