Johnathan Paul Wilkes, 49, passed away peacefully in his home on June 1, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer for three years.  Johnathan was born to Larry Wilkes and Constance Wright (Stahl) on October 8, 1970 in Augustine, Florida.  Johnathan attended Prince George High School in Virginia and graduated in 1988.  Throughout high school, John dabbled in many activities.  Some of these activities included football, baseball, wrestling and even being a drummer in the high school band.  John had a strong passion for Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Football, and even stronger passion for Hunting Season and Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  Aside from the more "manly" things John enjoyed, he also had a soft spot in his heart for his dogs Gemma and Lazlo.  John graduated from Davis College in 2013 with his Associate Degree in Medical Assisting but more recently found his niche in Truck Driving.

Johnathan is preceded in death by his father Larry Wilkes.  Johnathan is survived by his adoring mother Constance Wright; his loving children Johnathan Wilkes Jr., Alexis Wilkes, and Katelyn Wilkes; his sister Robyn Kline; his brother Richard Wilkes; his grandson Wiley Wilkes; as well as many Aunts; Uncles; Nieces; Nephews and Friends.

His Family will receive friends for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 40 in building at a time, guest please limit your time so that others may have a chance to pay their respects and social distancing will be observed inside facilities) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd.Sunday after 12 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to his family to offset expenses.No donation is too small and your support would be greatly appreciated.
