Joyce J. Remley passed away Wednesday June 8, 2016 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio – Toledo at the age of 83. She was born Nov. 7, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH to Levi and Sadie (MacDaniels) McIntosh and graduated from St. Bernard High School.

Joyce was an avid gardener, loved to travel and cherished her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and a welcoming hug and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Remley, Sr., daughter Charlotte Lipps and son Richard E. Remley, Jr.. Joyce is survived by her daughters Sandra L. Pearce, Surfside Beach, SC, and Jewell (Duke Sanford) Pickerel; son James (Kathleen) Remley; grandchildren David and Jason Lipps, Brad Pearce, David, Jacob and Levi Pickerel, Angelica and Shelby Remley and Kasey Rupp; great grandchildren Jason Lipps, Brock and Blaise Pearce, David Pickerel, III, and Levi Pickerel.

Joyce's family will receive friends Friday after 3 PM at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd where a Celebration of Her Life will take place at 7 PM.  Interment will take place Monday at 1 PM in the Fairhaven Cemetery, Fairhaven, OH.

The family prefers memorial tributes be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
