Joye May Morgan passed away Saturday September 5, 2020 in St. Luke's Hospital at the age of 80. She was born May 6, 1940 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to Otis & Annie (Warr) Hardy.

When she was young, Joye moved to Michigan growing up in Saginaw and moved to Newport Richey, FL in 1990 and eventually coming to Ohio in 2013, living in Defiance. She was a great cook and would emphasize her southern roots adding gravy to many of her dishes. Joye enjoyed playing cards and listening to country music. She loved children especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joye is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Davis, Talmage, twin brother Royce and Elvis; son Michael A. Szymanski.

She is survived by her children Judith A. Gisselbrecht of California, Susan K Kissel of Michigan, Scott W. Szymanski of California, Lori J. Duma of Ohio, Glenda S. Morgan of Michigan, Hope M. Morgan of Michigan and Mary L. Downing of Florida; brothers Larry N. Hardy of Michigan and George O'Neil Hardy of TN; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
