Kaitlyn Ann Cunningham, known to her loved ones as Kaite, passed away on February 6, 2024, in Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 28. She was born on September 22, 1995, in Toledo, Ohio, to Cynthia Cunningham, Theodore Cunningham. Kaite was a sweet and loving daughter, sister, and aunt, who adored animals, especially her beloved dog Maggie and her dog nephews.

In her free time, Kaite enjoyed indulging in her hobbies, which included immersing herself in the world of Harry Potter, watching sci-fi and murder mystery movies, and spending time with animals. She also had a passion for running in the Special Olympics and participating in the "Harry Potter Club" during her high school years and was known for her ability to tell jokes that would light up a room. She ALWAYS had to have the last word.

Kaite leaves behind her mother Cynthia Cunningham, her father Theodore Cunningham, her sister Kimberly (John) Kazmaier, her brother James Kyle Krieger, and her nieces Rebecca and Hannah Kazmaier. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Alice Kauffmann "Bubby", her maternal grandfather Kolman Goodleman "Zahde".

Kaite attended McGregor Elementary School and later graduated from Whitmer High School. She found solace and community at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, where she worshiped.

A ceremony to celebrate Kaite's life will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, located at 3934 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623. The memorial service will begin at 1:30 pm and light refreshments and fellowship to follow. Please join us in celebration of Kaite's life here on Earth.

When Kaite got her state ID she registered as an organ donor. Her last wish was to help others and contribute the best way that she could. Please consider organ/tissue donation and know the importance of that gift.
