Keith Alan Petit Sr. went to join his loving wife and son in Heaven on July 23rd, 2023. Keith was born December 2, 1960 in Linton, Indiana to Leo Petit and Nada (Kennett) Petit.

He married Sherry (Mackey) Petit September 20,1985 and they were married 35 years before Sherry's passing in 2020.

Keith was a laborer by trade and worked many years with the Michigan laborers union.

Keith was a devoted husband and father and the best papa in the world. He was always helping anyone anyway he could and knew just about everything about anything. He loved working in the yard and his grass was admired by everyone. He loved his dogs Charlie & Jojo dearly and spoiled them rotten. He spent many days at Cullen park taking walks with the dogs, looking for deer and picking berries with Anastasia. To know him was to love him and he will be sorely missed

He is preceded in death by his wife Sherry Petit; son, Keith Petit Jr.; father Leo Petit; mother Nada Petit; brother Larry Petit; father in law Bernard Mackey and brother in law James Mackey

Left to cherish his memory, is his daughter Angela Petit; son Jessee Petit; mother in law Sharon Mackey; grandchildren Brooklyn Stone, Briana Hounshell, Anastasia "Bush" Hounshell,  Brayden Petit, Bentley Petit Isaiah Petit, Carter Petit; sisters, Kathleen Livers and Muriel Petit; sister in law Christine Mille; nieces Lisa(Chris) Biedler, Olivia(Tad) Vanhon, Leahann(Steve) Mize; great nieces, Jada Huff, Alayna Mize, Timberly Vanhorn, and great nephew Gunner Vanhorn; lifelong friends, Bruce Bartja, Jim Domschot, & Nick Stevens.

Keith's family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday August 3, 2023 after 2 PM followed by funeral service at 6 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
