Kevin Velte, 65, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 22, 2022. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Rita Velte, and his brother Eddie Velte. He is survived by his children, Jessica (Tucker) and Andrew (Velte), and his 3 grandchildren, Tyler (Tucker), Madison, and Charlotte (Velte). Kevin is also survived by his 5 sisters, Judy, Kathy, Maureen, Chris and Colleen.

Kevin went to school at Central Catholic High School and graduated from Whitmer High School in 1974 and went on to work in maintenance at St. Charles Hospital for over 30 years. He loved the Minnesota Vikings and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed working on cars, remodeling his home, helping others remodel their homes, and spending time on his boat and relaxing in his pool. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help with funeral expenses.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday after 4 PM followed by funeral services at 7 PM.
