Lamon Scott Haynes age 36 of Toledo, affectionately known as "Scotty"passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. He was born to the union of Tonya Haynes-Smith and Shakur Sanders on January 26, 1986 in Toledo Ohio.  He was well known for being a loving Son, Brother, Uncle, and friend.

Lamon attended Libbey High School and worked various jobs but had a passion for landscape work. In his youth he attended Southern Missionary Baptist church under the guidance of Robert P. Wormley.  Many who knew Scotty could                  all agree that he was a free spirit with a love for life.                                He will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his father Shakur Sanders, brother Antwan  McCoy, Grandmother Lucille Wormley-Davis. He leaves to cherish his memory mother Tonya Haynes- Smith, Sisters Yosheika Sanders, Breoncka Mathews and Tyonnia Haynes. Brother Re'Shawn Sanders. Step-Mother Yolonda Jordan, Aunts Trina Robbins, Traci Haynes, and Iesha Jeffries.  Uncle Terrence Haynes  Special cousin Cierra Robbins -Steiner. Special Great Aunts, Bertha Lillard, Mabel Wormley, Longine Parnell, and Gloria Foster. Special Great Uncle John Wormley, and a host of relatives and dear friends.

Lamon's family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 after 11 AM  until 12:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1 PM. 100% of all monetary donations will go directly towards payment for services and can be donated on this site.

Repast service will be held at Southern Missionary Baptist Church at 1222 Indiana Avenue , Toledo, OH 43607, immediately following the funeral service.
