Leoanrd William Futrel passed away September 30, 20221 in Toledo Hospital at the age of 70. He was born January 25, 1951in Toledo to John and Anita (Dick) Futrel but was raised by his stepmother Mary. Leonard was a boiler operator for Washington Local Schools 30 years before his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his son Leonard W. Futrel, II; parents John and Mary Futrel; brother John and sister Rosemary. Leonard is survived by his wife Clara M.; grandchildren Paige (Colton) Kennebeck, Kyle Futrel, Oksana Futrel, Alexandrea Futrel and Clara R. Futrel; eleven great grandchildren; and siblings Chris, Karen, Linda, Bobby, Hazel, Suzie, Patty, Dennis and Mary.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Tuesday after 1 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3 PM.
