IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Cathleen
(Clark) Stetler
August 19, 1949 – January 21, 2024
Linda was born on August 19th, 1949 to George and Nancie Clark in Toledo, Ohio. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother during her incredible 74 years of life. She passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday January 21, 2024.
Linda enjoyed many camping trips with her husband of 44 years, James Stetler. They shared many great memories with their amazing friends. Together they spent most of their vacations at their favorite spot in the upper peninsula of Michigan, Vacationland Resort. They all enjoyed fishing and many laughs were shared, especially when the ladies out caught the men.
Linda worked at Toledo Bingham Stamping and Tool, Jeep Chrysler, and later pursued mixology, becoming a bartender at Waltz Tavern for 10+ years. She was also a proud member of the United Automobile Workers Union and a VFW member for 25+ years.
Linda was a spunky spirit who was easy going and kind. A true 70s soul, she loved to be barefoot in the sun. She held many outdoor backyard parties with her grandchildren who she loved so much. Linda loved wind chimes, a good book, and sitting on the porch together with her husband watching the sun go down.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Elizabeth whom passed early in life, and sister Susan Clark.
She is survived by her loving husband James Stetler; sister, Debbie Clark; brothers, Michael and Jeff Clark; daughters Julie Geyer, Aundrea (Robert) Smith, as well as her step children with James Stetler; Kelli, Jay, and Joe Stetler; grandchildren and great; James (James Jr./Jenna) Geyer, Anna Varner, Justin (Bree/Navaeh) Martin, Brianna (significant other Ryan Smith) Martin, Amy Smith, Christine and Megan, Shain (Rylee/Declan), Sean, Tyler, Keith, and Elizabeth (Eleanor) Stetler.
We will miss Linda dearly, but are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.
Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday January 25, 2024 after 9 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 AM with interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
