Linda Sue Suter passed away Friday, February 5, 2021in Waterville Healthcare Center at the age of 74.
Linda Sue Suter was born on November 8, 1946 to Gerald and Helen (Foufos) Spencer. Helen died when Linda was 7 years old. Linda was raised by her loving stepmother, Jennie Spencer. Linda was a 1964 graduate of Waite High School and 1966 graduate from Northwestern Ohio Practical Nurse Training Center, having from then on working at several of the local hospitals and nursing homes. She took her job seriously with compassion towards patients, making her a darn good nurse.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Helen, her father Gerald, her stepmother Jennie, her son David Roth, and brothers-in-law, David and Harvey. She is survived by her children Theresa Roth (Kathy), Wendy Lashuay, daughter-in-law Denise Roth, very dear and best friend, Gary Suter, grandchildren Victoria, AnDrea, Shelby, David Jr, Erica, Ethan, great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Riley, Nya, and Aryiana. Siblings, Steven (Linda) Spencer, Cheryl Lapinski, Gerald Jr (Sandi) Spencer, and Majorie Flores, and many nieces and nephews. Linda also leaves behind two animal friends, dog Luna Bear, and cat Kiara Ms. Meow-meows.
Linda had a beautiful voice, and sang in the choir in high school and in church. She was a member of the Church of God. She enjoyed doing crafts, flower arranging, shopping, cooking, baking, and spending time with Gary just sitting on the swing talking and enjoying each other's company. Linda was kind, loving, and most affectionate to her children and grandchildren, who she loved unconditionally. The family would like to thank Waterville Health Care and Heartland Hospice for taking good care of Linda.
Friends and Family are welcome for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Wednesday February 10th from 3 – 6 PM where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 AM.
