Lucas Lee Wall, 34, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on February 25, 2026, in his hometown. Born on March 10, 1991, in Toledo, Lucas brought joy and laughter to all who knew him throughout his life. Lucas attended Start High School and continued his education at the University of Toledo. He is the beloved son of his mother, Donna and stepfather, David Bauman and is lovingly remembered by his family, including his grandmother Joann Carter; sisters Lydia (Todd) Way, Alexa Bauman, and Nicole (Tyler) Gorman; niece Sophia Sharpe; nephew Cooper Gorman; aunts Debbie (James) Warren, Cindy (Tim) Selz and Debbie Wolfe; uncles Dan (Shelly) Kirsch and Rick Wall; as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Jeffery Wall; uncles Douglas Kirsch and David Kirsch; aunt Robin Bockelman; grandparents Ruth and Richard Wall, Kenneth Kirsch, and Gerald Carter. Lucas had a profound love for the outdoors. Whether snowmobiling through frozen trails, boating down the river, fishing with loved ones, or riding his motorcycle on open roads, he found peace in nature's beauty. He also had a special fondness for birds and enjoyed observing their grace. A devoted fan of Detroit sports teams—the Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings—Lucas's enthusiasm for the games was contagious. Holidays were especially meaningful to Lucas. Christmas brought him immense joy with its traditions and celebrations, while Halloween allowed him to showcase his creativity through costumes. He cherished vacations as opportunities to create lasting memories with loved ones. Known for his warm personality and infectious laughter, Lucas had an extraordinary ability to bring people together. He shared a special bond with Maggie and her children Layla and Leo, who brought great happiness into his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Castillo Funeral Home via this website to help offset expenses. His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Friday from 3 - 7 PM where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM followed by interment to Historic Woodlawn Cenetery. Lucas will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him as they remember the joy he shared so freely.
