Marty V. Keefe, Jr. of Newark and Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully, Thursday March 23, 2017 in Ebeid Hospice Residence with his family by his side at the age of 55.

Marty was born January 9, 1962 to Martin V. and Carol J. (Miller) Keefe, Sr. in Toledo. After graduating from Whitmer High School, he set out on a cross country road trip to California where he decided to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps. Marty returned to Ohio and lived most of his adult life in Newark, OH.

Marty loved music and watching sports including his beloved Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

He will forever be loved and remembered as a gentle soul, many times noisy and loud but always a gentle soul.

Marty is preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life Tracie. He is survived by his sister Tammy Keefe-Koleff; brothers David (Shelia) Keefe of Lima and Donald Keefe.

Graveside services will be held to Celebrate his Life in Newark Memorial Gardens 4244 Marion N.E. Newark, OH 43055 at 1PM Friday. Those wishing to make contributions may make it to the funeral home.
